ABOUT

Wendy Torres – Author of The Angel Rules and The Little Angel Book for Girls has been writing since age 13.  She self-published a book of poetry, The Flipped Side of a Warped Mind and recently released her third manuscript about relationships, Side Chick Syndrome.

Wendy received her BSED of Secondary Social Sciences from the University of West Georgia with a minor in Political Science and dual certification in Middle School and Secondary Social Studies.  She obtained her Masters of Creative Arts Education from Lesley University - a subsidiary of Cambridge University.  She has 25 in public education in the state of Georgia and enjoys contracting for the Georgia Department of Education and other private professional development companies.  She currently serves a local school system in the state of Ga. as a Title I District Academic Coach.  There she develops and provides district level professional development and in-service training to support the instructional literacy components embedded in Title I schools’ content areas K-12.

Writing is my form of therapy. Out side of working out with my gym family, putting pen to paper is the way I sort out my thoughts, feelings and my next level. You have to have an outlet for expression.
